Leviathan

Description

In the beginning, there was no throne—only endless water. Before Poseidon raised his dominion from coral and storm, something older had already taken root beneath the abyss. When Poseidon rose, the sea bent to his will—all but one. Leviathan—a god not born, but formed by the crushing weight of the deep, crowned by silence, and veiled in time.

As time went on, a hunter came—merciless, tireless—tearing through the deep, leaving only silence in its path. But even it, for all its hunger, veered away from the deepest trench. It knows. All things do. Leviathan is not prey. It is not predator. It is the ocean's oldest wound—still open, still waiting.

No records speak its name. No temple dares. It is not remembered in words, only in fear. And it is said: to say its name is to awaken it.

And when it awakens, it does not rage blindly. It chooses—not many, only a rare few. To them, it does what not many gods of Olympus ever could: it crowns them. Not with gold or laurel, but with the weight of the abyss. Kings not of men, but something deeper.

Through them, it stirs. Through them, it remembers.

It changes them.

Their vision pierces deeper than darkness. Their fear is drowned. Their will is no longer their own. What returns from its touch no longer human, no longer whole. They are made to endure, made to rule.

Since then, the sea has not known peace—only waiting.
